I already love the Huawei Watch (and so does Dom), and now I think I love it even more. Today, the Chinese OEM has announced that the company's Android Wear smartwatch is getting its manufacturer's warranty extended. Originally just 12 months, the Huawei Watch is now eligible for an additional 12 months of coverage if you buy direct from Huawei and register your device with the company...
Here's the word:
For that reason, we are extending the standard product warranty for the Huawei watch by 12 months, for a total warranty period of 2 years. All we ask is that you register your Huawei Watch after purchase so we can verify purchase date and provide the best customer experience possible.
This is great for those looking to get on board with the emerging Nexus 6P-maker, and it's a testament to Huawei's confidence in this product and its reliability. To be eligible for the extended warranty, however, you have to fulfill a couple requirements: You have to register within 45 days of purchase, and your purchase must be from the official gethuawei.com website.
Additionally, Huawei Watch is now available to purchase in the German Google Store. In the states, you can grab the silver milanese loop-like bracelet variant of the watch for $399, and that's assumably the same model you can now buy in Germany. If you have access to the German version of the Google Store, feel free to take the comments below and correct me if I'm wrong.
